Well goodness sakes, it's been a while.  Sending big hello hugs and hoping you all are experiencing His joy in immeasurable ways.  It's been a while since regular blogging from this here bloggity blog eh?  This past year, we experienced some major life events, events that rocked the very ground I stand on.  Hardest time of my life up to date.  As timing would have it, these events were also intermixed with the most joyous and love filled occasions in both of our immediate families.  Extreme opposites...reaching the far end of the spectrum.  Whew by golly, it was a whirlwind.

Thankfully, the ground I stand shaken as it was for a built on the truth and trust in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ...and He has forever set me free.  He used these experiences to forever change and shape my heart in ways they might not otherwise have grown to know Him.  I think it will take some time to share those experiences...and I'd like to do so here at some point, if only just to touch one soul.  But for now, I wanted to just step right back into my blogging shoes for a moment with a very worthy reason to celebrate...He is risen!

Wishing you a joyous EASTER weekend as we remember the price Jesus paid and the victory He won!

Lots of fun (yet simple) Easter goodies out there to enjoy.

SIDENOTE:  I've been sick all week.  Like, unmentionable sick.  Yuck!  Although I'm on the mend, I'll be barely well enough to celebrate Easter at my parents' house with the fam.  Yummy food, a little egg hunting, and a precious family.  It's a no fuss kind of Easter this year...with a focus on Jesus.  Hallelujah!

I also wanted to share a few meaningful resources that serve as powerful testimony to me as of lately.  While sick this week, my husband signed us up for the free week trial of hulu plus.  It was helpful while in bed for days on end.  One of the movies I watched was October Baby.  Oh my what a powerful message.  It spoke so deeply to me.  I am pained to see the messages our culture brings women and the lies they (we all) believe at times.  Lord, please break our hearts for what breaks yours.  I would highly recommend seeing this movie and checking out a website from the movie's writers.

And one more, have you ever seen or heard the testimony of Gianna Jessen?  What a courageous woman who shines His light mightily!  No one can presume to know anyone's position, circumstance, or emotional hurt...but one thing is for sure, every life is beautiful.

As we celebrate Easter, may the truth and gift of His sacrifice be the bedrock of our foundationS...and may we continue to be open to the remodeling He aims to do in us for His glory!

May the blessings of Easter abound in your home and in your heart this weekend!

Big hugs,
